Dv8's second workshop! Jason Gordon (Software Engineer 2 at Mimecast) will be running a 60 minute workshop on Code Reviews.

We are running a workshop Thursday 28th of October starting at 17:30 BST exclusively available to Dv8 members.

This will be a 60 minute session led by Jason Gordon who is a Software Engineer 2 at Mimecast.

The session will start with a talk by Jason about:

• What a code review is and why we do them

• A couple of tips on making the process go well when your code is being reviewed, likewise for when reviewing someone else’s code

• A live review of the repositories of 3 brave DV8 volunteers to help our community better understand what companies are looking for and to highlight some common mistakes.

• A ‘Group’ review of the volunteer repositories

From there we will engage in a breakout session where members of our community can ask Jason any questions they have on code reviews.
